In October 2017, Invasion Singapore partnered up with Noise Singapore to present Noise Invasion Festival at Haw Par Villa, a celebration of individuality and creativity, where our 9,200 festival goers were encouraged to #GetWeird, dress up and enjoy the performances by 10 artists and 1 dance crew.
The Noise Invasion Festival featured a unique stage at the top of Haw Par Villa. The artists that performed include Sam Rui, m1ldl1fe, Amateur Takes Control, Wicked Aura, and Axel Brizzy. 5 participants shortlisted from the New Vs Old workshop also opened the festival.
Freaky Fir and Slac Satu collaborated on a large festival mural. Prior to the festival day, they called out for aspiring or amateur artists to submit their work. 3 artists were chosen to collaborate on the final piece together with the two established artists. Festival goers were also allowed to contribute to the mural on the day of the festival.
